Introduction
Greetings! I am Maggie LaNoue. I found out about Drupal early 2011 have been very slowly building some Drupal web sites. One is at http://www.Albion...
. My focus is on design, art and photography. I started building html web sites in 1995.
Do you currently use Drupal? If so, what do you consider your experience level?
Yes. Actively learning. It has been hard to learn because I work alone. I write my goals, post links to answers to my current challenges by creating my own training web pages I use internally. If I were to printout all of the pages I have written to help myself to solve Drupal issues it would take 2 reams of paper to print all 1000 pages. My next goal is to get Views and Panels to work, and to add more content to my web sites.
Do you have any web sites that you are responsible for managing or maintaining? If so, what are they?
I have two Drupal sites that are live right now. One is my own - a small city site about sustainable resources in Albion Michigan. It is http://www.albionmich.net
I also am starting to upgrade the Greater Albion Chamber of commerce site into a Drupal platform and will be getting the membership directory into a database using Views and Panels so members can post photos, etc.

I also have a lot of other web sites I have designed - some for clients - and some I own. For clients: http://www.claras.com , http://www.drugfreealbion.org , http://www.encompasseap.com
For my own work - http://www.albiondesign.com , http://www.customcorporatecards.com
and also some old html city sites such as http://www.albionmich.com and http://www.jacksonmich.com. Those sites come up first in google in searches for "Albion Michigan" and "Jackson Michigan"
Do you have any upcoming web site projects that you are considering Drupal for?
I am working on a new set of city sites with the sustainability theme. In addition to AlbionMich.net I purchased the domain names JacksonMich.net and BattleCreekMich.net - and some others. I will be featuring where to buy local food, how to recycle, bike paths, alternative transportation and things like that. I will have panoramic photos of each community for every season. I only have winter photos yet to take. I need to put things together but want to create a Make file, or a site profile first so each site will be similar (and easier) once the first one is the way I want it. I would like to learn how to use Drush.
Have you used any web content management tools similar to Drupal? If so, what are they?
I created a few sites using Word Press because my Drupal skills are not up to snuff yet - like the Drug Free Albion .org site above and some others that are in various stages of assembly. It is easier - but I like Drupal so much better. I have found a good resource for Drupal training videos at Node One. I take notes as I learn but mostly get one challenge learned at a time and write down how I learned and where I found the answer to questions.
